Here are the results of the draft from Night 1 which was on the April 26 episode of Smackdown. Red is RAW, Blue is Smackdown and solid Black is NXT.

As a reminder, all current champions are not eligable for the WWE Draft and staying on their current brands EXCEPT the Women’s Tag Team Champions. Also, Cody Rhodes was officially assigned to Smackdown last weekend. Paul Heyman also announced Roman Reigns will not be a part of the draft.

Ok here we go:

  • Bianca Belair
  • Jey Uso
  • Carmelo Heyes
  • Seth Rollins
  • Randy Orton
  • Bron Breakker
  • Nia Jax
  • Liv Morgan
  • LA Knight
  • Ricochet
  • Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Paul Heyman
  • Sheamus
  • AJ Styles
  • Alpha Academy
  • Andrade
  • Kiana James (from NXT)

Those are the picks in the order they were announced during Smackdown. One NXT callup and only three brand changes (Nia Jax and Andrade to Smackdown, Bron Breakker to RAW) so far. More may be announced during Talking Smack on Thursday as has been the case in recent years. Carmelo Hayes signed with Smackdown two months ago but extended his

I do agree with those who’ve expressed frustration with almost no changes so far. I can only hope it means we’ll see some trades before the rosters are finalized on May 6.

Here are some additional draft picks announced shortly after Smackdown went off the air on Social Media:

  • The O.C. (Michin, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson
  • Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn
  • Baron Corbin (will likely be traded to RAW to team with Bron Breakker or vice versa)
  • Ivar
  • Cedric Alexander and Ashante “Thee” Adonis
  • Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

The entire draft pool is now officially accounted for. The only change is Fyre and Dawn moving from Smackdown to RAW.

It’s also possible additional NXT callups will be announced before Night 2 as well some talent possibly beiing free agents. Speaking of, Jade Cargill announced before Smackdown went on the air she would be open to working both Smackdown AND RAW if need be. This is in addition to her showing a lot of interest in NXT since she first signed with WWE.

For those who might not know, Free Agents can appear on both RAW and Smackdown. In the last few years we’ve also seen RAW and Smackdown superstars regularly appearing on NXT for extended storylines.

I’ll update this post once more drafts have been announced online and elsewhere over the weekend.
